escape punishment in this temporal life. This belief, naturally, helps to curb a Muslim's evil propensities and develops his good, virtuous inclinations. That is why religious injunctions and prohibitions appeal to both heart and mind
In addressing the believers, the Quranic verses abound in such phrases as, "if you reason""if you are pious""if you remember", "that who believes in Allah, and the Last Day. etc ...
Eighthly: Infallibility and truthfulness. Being divinely revealed, Islamic Shari'a is characterized by infallibity. It is immune against interpolation and distortion. Allah, the Almighty, says:
"i.e. Say. O men!. I am sent unto you all" (VII,١٥٨)
Secondly: Another feature of Islamic legislation is: -
Justice which is exclusively incomparable to man-made laws. For, so long as we firmly believe in the divine origin of Islamic Shari'a, that is, it has been revealed by Allah the Almighty of whom perfect Justice is one of His sublime attributes, so, the rulings of this Shari'a must naturally be equitable and fair, particularly in two respects:
