And:

{كِتَابٌ أُحْكِمَتْ آيَاتُهُ}

i.e. " (This is) a Book with verses basic or fundamental of established mean ing (XI,l)

From the above-quoted verses and the like, we learn the following facts:

First: The Islamic Shari'a, by its very comprehensive nature, encompasses all domains of life, laying down the principles and guidelines regulating man's life in all its aspects.

To substantiate this fact, we cite the following two evidences:

I The first evidence:

Quotations from the holy Quran and the prophet's traditions as well as examples derived from the living reality of the Muslim nation, especially during the splendid, flourishing era of prophethood, and the righteous Caliphs. Allah the Almighty says:

{وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالأِنْسَ إِلالِيَعْبُدُون}

"i.e."and We have sent down to thee the Book explaining all things" (XVT,٨٩)

Salman al Farisi, may Allah be pleased with him, was told that the prophet, P.B.U.H. had taught the Muslims everything including reading;to this, Salman
